• St Peter’s Church – The tower of this Romanesque church has the largest clock face in Europe, and is visible from all over the city.  It is approximately 9m in diameter, and the minute hand is 4m long.

• Kunsthaus Zurich – One of the largest collections of Modern Art can be enjoyed here, featuring works by Turner, Munch, Picasso and Van Gogh.
• Confiserie Sprungli – A local favourite since 1836, this chocolatier has historical links to the world-famous Lindt chocolate company.  Its boutique chocolates and other confections can be sampled at their store on Bahnhofstrasse.

• The Zurich Street Parade – Modelled on Berlin’s Love Parade, it is now the largest techno music festival in the world, attracting thousands of revellers celebrating “love, peace, freedom and tolerance”.
• Cabaret Voltaire – This theatre in 1916 was the birthplace of Dadaism, the influential cultural movement that grew in response to the War.
