• Town Markets – Part of the German way of life, Heidelberg offers two markets the Neuenheim market and one in the old town.  The Neuenheim market is acclaimed to be the better of the two and operates on Saturday and Wednesdays.
• Heidelberg Christmas Market – A long standing German tradition, the Christmas market in Heidelberg operates from the 24th of November to the 22nd of December and is located in the Old City.

• Heiligenberg– Take the walking track through the forest and discover the Thingstätte an open air amphitheatre built in 1935. An old abandoned monastery built in the 9th century is also close by.
