Koblenz: Is situated in the picturesque landscape of the Rhine and Moselle and is surrounded by a number of low mountain ranges. The collection of cultural monuments and historic buildings makes this destination a popular place. Whilst travelling past the historic buildings and alley ways, shopping is a great way to spend a day. Visit the St Florin’s Market and Old Mint Square, taking you past all the medieval churches and shopping hotspots. Cochem: The famous town for historic castles and wineries is nestled in the valley of Moselle, surrounded by the Reichsburg castle, which dates back from 1051. The thousand year castle is Cochem’s famous landmark. Other sites to see are the baroque town hall, the Martinsbrunnen, St Martin’s church, and also the market square. The Wine Museum is also popular, as it features one of the largest private collections on the theme of wine with over 10,000 exhibits. Traben-Trarbach: has unique landscapes, arts, and culture nestled alongside wineries and breathtaking views. It offers fascinating art buildings, and holds a number of facts about the past history and contemporary Traben-Trarbach city.
