• The Museum of San Telmo – 3 distinct sections of Fine Art, History and Archaeology provides an instructive insight into the history of the Basque Region.  Works by artists such as El Greco, Rubens, Depièce and contemporary Basque artists are on display. Free admission.
• The Naval Museum – The city has a huge maritime history and here you can wander and get an in-depth look into the regions seafaring tradition.
• The Kursaal Palace - An interesting architectural complex comprising an auditorium, many halls and exhibition centre.  Designed by Spanish architect Rafael Moneo, it is home to the San Sebastian International Film Festival

Experience:

• Aquarium – Come face to face with sharks and rays in the underwater tunnel, see tropical fish in re-created tanks, plus witness the sea life of the Bay of Biscay, conger eels, trigger fish and more.
• The Peine de los Vientos (Wind Comb) – This work of art by Basque sculptor Eduaro Chillida is a mix of informal, minimalism and land art.  The sculpture is made up of 3 separate works all encrusted into rock and pointing out to sea to channel the sea and wind.
• Santa Clara Island – A tiny island situated in the middle of the bay, quaint and easy to explore, linked by boat from the docks in summer only.
