The stunning city of Bordeaux is located in the southwest of France along the coast and built on a bend of the Garonne River. The city is often referred to as the Wine capital as it is most famous for its high quality red and white wines. Recently, Bordeaux has been added to the UNESCO World Heritage List for being ‘an outstanding urban and architectural ensemble’.
