Situated in the heart of the Cyclades Paros is known in antiquity for its fine marble and wine. It is a typical Cycladic island with traditional little villages full of whitewashed cubic houses with blue doors and windows and is characterised by narrow streets, flowered balconies and various lively squares. Paros also has beautiful churches, chapels and monasteries, a hilly countryside with endless vineyards, numerous hotels, restaurants and an exciting nightlife.

Island Hotspots:

• Parikia – The town of Parikia is located in one of the two bays of Paros. It is the capital of the island as well as the island’s main harbour where regular ferries and catamarans serve most of the other Greek Islands.
• Naoussa - The picturesque fishing village of Naoussa is located in a bay in the northern part of Paros, 10 kilometres east from Parikia. It is considered to be one of the most attractive villages in the Cyclades as it has still managed to keep its authenticity, character and charm. Naoussa is also famous for its numerous beautiful beaches including Kolymbithres Beach, Agios Ioannis, Agioi Anargyroi and Monastiri.
• Prodromos - Southeast of Parikia and 7 km south of Naoussa is the picturesque small village of Prodromos. A village built in the traditional Cycladic way, full of whitewashed cube houses, tiny white chapels and churches.
• Aliki – Located right down in the southwest corner of the island, close to the sea, is Aliki. The local wine and hospitality in Aliki guarantee a warm welcome and an unforgettable stay. The most famous beaches of this area are Aliki, Pisso Aliki, St Nicholas, Makria Miti, Farangas, Pigadaki and Tripiti.
• Drios – This small fishing village is located on the east coast of Paros, approximately 23 km from Parikia. Drios provides warm hospitality and a picturesque beach with thick sand, small pebbles and trees for plenty of shade.
