Corfu, also known as Kerkyra, is one of the best known Ionian Islands. It is a mountainous island with impressive landscapes, dense vegetation due to the many winter rainfalls and golden sandy beaches. It also features many traditional villages and museums, Byzantine churches, impressive Venetian fortresses and lively resorts that are spread throughout the island.

• Corfu Town – The capital and main town of Corfu, having the island’s same name, is one of the most beautiful, impressive and interesting cities in Greece. It is the principal port and largest town in the Ionian Islands.
• Kassiopi – The town of Kassiopi, located 38 km north of Corfu Town, is a little picturesque fishing resort situated in front of the Albanian coasts. Dominated by a fortress built by the Romans, it is said that Emperor Nero once visited the town
• Glyfada – This beach is one of the most famous in Greece. It is an immense beach boasting soft sand and for the most part sloping safely and gradually to an intensely blue Ionian Sea. Glyfada beach is an obvious attraction of Corfu Island.
• Paleokastritsa – This picturesque village is situated 26 km northwest of Corfu’s capital and has long been considered one of the most beautiful villages in Corfu. The village is surrounded by dramatic hills and cliffs and is built around some of the most stunning sandy beaches of the island.
• Lefkimi - Situated 40 km south of the Corfu Town is Lefkimi. It is the second largest town of the island and the administrative centre for the south of Corfu. The town is famous for its wine but also for the fine architecture of the Agioi Theodori and Agios Arsenios churches.
• Pelekas – The picturesque village of Pelekas is situated 13 km west of Corfu’s capital, nestled on a 270 metre high hill. This village is positioned in the vicinity of three sandy beaches: Pelekas, Myrtiotissa and the famous Glyfada.
