• Delphi Museum - one of the best museums Greece has to offer, as it shelters some very important works of Art from ancient Greece. Most famous among its exhibitions are the Omphalos (or navel of the earth), the frieze from the treasury of the Syphnians, the frieze from the Treasury of the Athenians, the Kouroi Kleovis and Biton, and the Charioteer of Delphi bronze statue.
• Mount Parnassus - A beautiful mountain offering scenic views of the surrounding olive groves and countryside. Today, the slopes of Mount Parnassus are the location of two ski centres, where you can enjoy a day skiing the beautiful slopes.

Secrets of the City:

• Delphi is known as the centre of worship for the God Apollo, son of Zeus who embodied moral discipline and spiritual clarity. According to Greek myth, Zeus released two eagles from opposite ends of the earth and they met in the sky above Delphi. Impaling one another with their beaks, they fell to the ground on the very centre of the world. The site was marked by the Omphalos, or "navel" stone, a Roman copy of which can be seen in the Delphi Museum.
