Brač Island, is the longest and most elevated island in central Dalmatia and the third largest among the Adriatic islands. Its highest peak Vidova Gora, 778m above the sea level, is also the highest peak of all the Croatian islands. Brač Island is comprised of 23 small towns most of which are dominated by a karst limestone relief.

Island Hots Spots:

• Supetar – Situated in the centre is the biggest settlement on Brač Island, Supetar. This town is the main port of entry on Brač Island. Its most outstanding attraction is the 18th Century Church of the Annunciation along with the surrounding buildings such as the Leroy clock and Bell Tower.
• Bol – Situated on the southern part of the island, Bol is the oldest town on the coast of Brač. This little town was founded long ago and became an extraordinary tourist oasis because of the wide gravel and sandy beaches which extend over 10 km.
• Pucisca – Positioned in the middle of the northern part of Brač Island, Pucisca is the biggest town on the island and retains original Mediterranean characteristics. Pucisca is also famous for the production of olive-oil, vines and figs.
• Sutivan - A small town located on the northwest seaside of Brač, situated in front of Split. This small and quiet village has a Mediterranean atmosphere and boasts beautiful beaches, a promenade and is surrounded by  forests.
• Selca – The municipality of Selca is located in the eastern part of Brač Island and includes three tourist villages: Selca, Sumartin and Povlja. Besides its rich cultural history and attractive natural beauty Selca is a city famous for its poetry.
