The island of Korčula is one of the greenest islands in the Adriatic Sea. It is also one of the most popular travel destinations in southern Croatia. The island is rich in art and culture and features numerous tiny and secluded beaches and bays, small and uninhabited islands and breathtaking views.

Island Hot Spots:

• Korčula – The main town on the island is also named Korčula and is situated on the far east of the island. With its numerous buildings, monuments, cafes, hotels, restaurants, galleries and cinemas, Korčula is popular for visitors as it is a central location from which they can explore the rest of the island.
• Lumbarda – South of Korčula town is Lumbarda, a little fisherman’s village known best for its finest vineyards and production of a unique white wine called 'GRK'. This village is a very popular tourist spot as it provides beautiful sandy beaches and numerous small cafes.
• Vela Luka – To the very west end of Korčula is Vela Luka, a large tourist, agricultural and industrial town. It is well known for its sardine factory and production of olive oil.
• Blato – Located in the middle of the island is Blato, one of the largest towns on the island. This town is also well known for its olive oil production and sword dance Kumpanjija. The Bays of Prigradica, Prizba and Grscica are within close vicinity and are popular places to visit.
• Pupnat – The oldest settlement on the island dating back from Illyrian times is Pupnat, a well preserved village with architecture that must be seen. Pupnat is probably best known for Pupnatska Luka - one of the most beautiful pebble beaches on Korčula Island.
• Zrnovo – A five minute bus ride from Korčula town is Zrnovo. Well known for its old cypresses, terraced vineyards, stone houses, bell towers, churches and olive groves.
