  The Wicklow Gaol – is claimed to be one of Ireland’s most haunted places. Built in 1702, the historic site is now a popular tourist attraction. Visitors can travel back in time watching audio visual material, exploring the cells and dungeons  and will come face to face with some of the goal’s most notorious criminals through interactive displays and reenactments.
• Russborough House –is situated in the spectacular scenery of Blessington Lakes and Wicklow mountains, and is one of the town’s most beautiful homes. This 18th century house is lavishly furnished with antiques and tapestries. Within the magnificent grounds is a 2000 square metre hedge maze, which is very popular with children.

  Wicklow Harbour – is the town’s most attractive area. Travel to the pier and cross the bridge to a smaller pier at the north end. From here explore the  shingle beach and lagoon behind where wildfowl can be spotted.
• The Wicklow Way – this self guided walking trail covers a full distance of 132 kilometres starting in Dublin’s southern suburb of Rathfarnham and finishing in the county Carlow village of Clonegal. The trail is only a short drive from Wicklow Town and includes suburban parklands, forest trails, breathtaking mountain landscapes and rolling countryside.
