Israel is an amazing country. Known as the “Holy Land” its history and diversity of culture is like no other place on earth. Israel is located in the eastern Mediterranean and has a population of approximately 7 million. The contrasts between the ancient land, and the modern state are ever present. The holy city of Jerusalem is sacred to Jews, Christians and Moslems and is full of historical sights. In stark contrast the modern city of Tel Aviv is the perfect place to indulge your urban tastes. The city offers museums, opera, theatre and dance, and fine restaurants with cuisines from around the world.
