• La Quebrada Cliff Divers – Perhaps Acapulco's most iconic attraction, La Quebrada is a place that has come to symbolise the city itself. For generations, men from Acapulco have hurled themselves off the majestic cliffs jutting out over the Pacific Ocean.
• Fort of San Diego - Built of stone and in a pentagonal shape, the Fort of San Diego has a moat, several vaulted enclosures underneath the walls and five bulwarks. Today it is a newly renovated Acapulco Historical Museum with 12 exhibition halls filled with unique relics.
• Acapulco International Centre – This convention centre is an impressive complex of 34 acres with pre-Hispanic reminiscences in its extensive interior. It is home to several theatres such as the Netzahualcoyotl; the Juan Ruiz de Alarcon; the impressive Teotihuacan Hall; the Aztec Plaza, along with several restaurants and a discotheque.
• The Zocalo – This is the main public plaza in town and is surrounded by many stores and restaurants.

• The Cathedral – Erected in 1930, this church is a perfect example of Acapulco's rich history with Moorish, Spanish and native influences. Its distinctive sky blue domes dominate the downtown plaza.
• Beaches – Relax at one of the many popular beaches including Pie de la Cuesta, Caleta, Condesa and Acapulco’s finest Icacos.
• Papagayo Park - This is one of the best municipal parks in Mexico featuring a downtown garden area totalling 52 acres filled with exotic birds and various rides.
• Isla La Roqueta – Only a 10 minute boat ride from Caleta Beach, this island has a unique zoo displaying lions, alligators, giraffes, leopards, zebras, an aviary and a serpentarium.
• Bullfight - Every Sunday afternoon, between January and April, the traditional battle between brawn and brain takes place with all the colour and spectacle of its Hispanic origins.
