• Mayan Archaeological Site - The peninsula is dotted with numerous Mayan ruins. A few of the more popular archaeological sites include Chichén-Itzá and its famous El Castillo Pyramid; Calakmul for having more than six thousand structures and Tulum which displays the sight of the Mayan stone walled fortress against the backdrop of the Caribbean.

• Beaches – The beaches are probably one of the main reasons to visit Cancun. The powdery, incredibly white sand of the Caribbean can be found on all of the beaches of Cancun. Enjoy the endless activities including volleyball, parasailing and snorkelling or spend the days relaxing in a hammock.
