Hotel Plitvice |
The Plitvice Lakes National Park, Croatia's most popular tourist attraction was granted UNESCO World Heritage status in 1979. Located roughly halfway between the capital city Zagreb and Zadar on the coast, the lakes are definitely a must-see. The beauty of the National Park lies in its sixteen lakes inter-connected by a series of waterfalls and is set in deep woodland populated by deer, bears, wolves, boars and rare bird species. The National Park covers a total area of 300 square kilometres, whilst the lakes join together over a distance of eight kilometres.
The hotel Plitvice is located on the coastline of Plitvice and was established in 1958. All 51 rooms are equipped with a mini-bar and hair dryer. Hotel Plitvice is highly recommended to visit the "Licka kuca" within the National Park. When entering the building, guests enter a large reception area with the reception desk to the right hand side. There is a bar to the left and plenty of seats are available in the spacious lobby as well as on the terrace outside.
Hotel Plitvice is situated in the beautiful Plitvice National Park and offers great views of the park and lakes from most of the rooms. The main entrance to the park is a short walk away from hotel Plitvice and the setting is tranquil and relaxing.
